ERSA Summer School 2016 - More on the Lectures Programme

The Local Organiser of the Summer School is happy to share with you the latest version of the Preliminay Programme more . Under the umbrella theme Space, Territory and Growth. Advances in Regional Science, the programme will be made of 6 days of high-level lectures as well as dedicated time slots for PhD Students to present their research and get feedback from prominent scientists.

Prof. Philip McCann will be the presenter of the next Lecture appointment on Friday 11 December (from 2.00 pm- 4.00 pm) and DG Regio Building, Brussels.
Topic : "The Impacts of the Global Financial Crisis on EU Regions and Cities: Implications for the Challenges Faced by Cohesion Policy"
Discussant: Prof. Gunther Maier, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business

Due to Brussels’ highest level of terror alert based on fears of ’Paris-style attack’, and the security measures on course including limited exploitation of the metro lines, the Lecture of Prof. Dominique Foray, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne scheduled this friday, 27 November 2015, will be postponed in 2016.
