The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology is seeking:
A Dean for the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning. Application deadline: 30th June 2009. The initial term of office is negotiable.
The elected Dean will be a recognized leader from the field of architecture. The Faculty is the oldest and largest school of architecture in Israel, and encompasses education and research in four main areas: Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban and Regional Planning, and Industrial Design. The candidate will be expected to provide the professional and intellectual leadership required to shape the future of the Faculty, and to be committed to investing substantial effort, with the support of academic faculty and the Technion management, in order to confront challenges such as attracting outstanding new faculty and reviewing and revising study and research programs. The initial term of office for a suitable candidate is negotiable.
