Travelling from Lodz
- FROM LODZ TO WARSAW:
Please note that there have been some minor changes to the travel plan
SHUTTLE BUS
A shuttle bus service will be organized between Lodz and Warsaw Fryderyk Chopin Airport - Okecie airport on August 29th. The buses stop only in these places (in given order):
1. Dormitory rooms
2. Congress Venue
3. Centrum Hotel
4. Swiatowit Hotel
5. University Hotel
We have asked participants to provide us with details of their travel itineraries in order to provide a sufficient number of buses. The analysis of the returned Travel Forms led to the conclusion that the following times of the shuttle bus will be most convenient:

Please note that there will be a special Transport Desk at the Registration room (115) where additional information concerning the shuttle busses to Warsaw may be obtained.
The transfer takes aprox. 2.5 hours.

BY TRAIN:
The train connection between Lodz and Warsaw is the fastest way of travelling between the two cities (taking approx. 85 minutes). Please check timetable here before you go:
To use the train connection you must first get to the city centre – LODZ FABRYCZNA STATION. In Warsaw, you must take the bus line 175 from the city centre to the airport. It will take you to the airport, where you have to get off at the last bus stop. At the train station (‘Lodz Fabryczna’) you have to buy a ticket to the station ’Warszawa Centralna’. During the summer trains between Lodz and Warsaw run every 2 hours, between 7am and 8 pm. Approximate cost of journey – 50 PLN (1st class) and 35 PLN (2nd class).

To get to the Airport please use fast railway line from the city centre to the Airport. Then use free Shuttle Bus to get to the Terminal.
