ERSA Congress 2009 FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

FAQ : "During the congress event, on which day and time will I be presenting my abstract/paper?" ANSWER: The programme will be prepared during the second half of July and will be posted on the ERSA website under the ERSA CONGRESS section. We invite you to consult the programme in August.

FAQ : "Why did I receive an email with a debit note as I have already paid online with a credit card or by bank transfer?" ANSWER: The debit note is a justification document that could be useful for your Accounting department, even though you have already made your payment online or by bank transfer. If by mistake we have not received your payment we will contact you at a later stage.

FAQ : "How can I get an official invitation letter to the congress event?" ANSWER: Invitation letters can be sent by email upon request, if the delegate has already made his registration and payment. Please contact the ERSA Office at the email address info@ersa.org

FAQ : "How can I get a refund if I need to cancel my registration?" ANSWER: The cancellation policy is posted on the ERSA website. Please contact the ERSA Office at the email address info@ersa.org

FAQ : "How can I verify that my abstract/paper was correctly uploaded?" ANSWER: Firstly, go to the Speaker-Delegate Zone and enter your personal Access Key. Secondly, click on the red "View PDF" button and you will access your paper. On some computers, Adobe Reader is necessary to open the file.

FAQ : "How can I upload my paper?" ANSWER: Firstly, go to the Speaker-Delegate Zone and enter your personal Access Key. Secondly, click on the "browse" button next to Upload Paper in order to find your paper file on your computer. Once you have selected your file, its path will appear in the box and you can then click on the "Upload Paper" button. You will then see a confirmation of upload.

FAQ : "Will there be a shuttle bus service on the day of my departure/arrival and how much will it cost?" ANSWER: The Local Organising Committee will set up an information point between 24th – 26th August at the Warsaw Fryderyk Chopin Airport - Okecie Airport. The INFO POINT will assist participants arriving at the airport in getting to Lodz. There will be buses going from Warsaw airport to Lodz on the 24th and 25th August and back on the 29th August. A one-way bus trip will cost 5 euros or 20 Zlotys. End of July, a Travel Form will be sent by email to all delegates to allow them to give details on their departure/arrival date and time.
