The Congress of the Spanish Association of Regional Science (AECR) and the Valencian Association of Regional Science will be held in the office of ADEIT - Fundación Universidad Empresa de Valencia, Plaza Virgen de la Paz, 3 in Valencia on the 26 and 27 of November. The Congress is entitled “Regional Development in times of change”.

Organization
On this occasion, the Ivie (Valencian Institute of Economic Research) will collaborate on the organization of the congress with the Spanish and Valencian Association of Regional Science.
Summary

4. Energy, sustainability, natural resources and the environment.
5. Autonomous and local funding.
6. Territorial policies in the European Union.

8. Government and land distribution.
9. Population and migration movements.
10. Public services: efficiency and equity.
11. The labour market, wages and productivity.
12. Industrial districts and territorial clusters.
13. Globalization and regional development.
14. Tourism.
15. Methods of regional analysis.
Authors may indicate which thematic area they would like their presentation to be part of in the abstract of their paper.
Submission of abstracts: until 5 June.
Submission of complete paper: until 17 July.
Final acceptance: until 2 October.
Venue
The head office of Adeit – Fundación Universidad Empresa of the Universitat de Valencia is located in the historical centre of Valencia in the square - Plaza Virgen Paz. Nearby there are various outstanding buildings and monuments such as La Nau de la Universitat de Valencia, the Colegio Mayor Rector Peset, the Iglesia de Santa Catalina, the Palau de la Generalitat, the Lonja, the Central Market, the Plaza Redonda and the Cathedral. The venue was conceived as a meeting place for society so that events can be organized and held in which ideas, knowledge and experiences are exchanged.
