The 3rd Central European Conference in Regional Science – CERS will be held in Košice, Slovak Republic, between 7th and 9th October 2009. The conference is being organised by the Faculty of Economics and Institute of Regional and Community Development at the Technical University of Košice, University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovak Section of the European Regional Science Association and German Speaking Section of the European Regional Science Association. The conference is devoted to representatives of universities, public and state administration, regional institutions, R & D centres and to all individuals or institutions interested in regional development.
The conference topics are:
* Regional science and its application in European countries
* Regional competitiveness, innovation and entrepreneurship
* Cross-border cooperation and development
* Decentralisation and regional policy

Notification of acceptance of abstracts: 31st May 2009

Late registration (from 1st June 2009): 190 EUR
Reduced Fee:
Early registration (until 31st May 2009): 75 EUR
Late registration (from 1st June 2009): 100 EUR
For accompanying persons:
Early registration (until 31st May 2009): 90 EUR
Late registration (from 1st June 2009): 90 EUR
Please remember that if you pay your registration fee before 31st May 2009, you will reduce your conference costs.
Participants who wish to submit a paper but will not attend the Conference are welcome to register. The fee is 100 €.
