Call for Papers - PUBLIC POLICIES AND INDUSTRIAL ORGANIZATION IN THE CITY

On June 25th 2010, Université Lille 3 will confer the title of Doctor honoris causa to Professor Masahisa Fujita to honor his seminal contributions to the development of urban economics.

A two-day conference on topics related to urban economics and new geographical economics will be held on June 24th and 25th, 2010. You are invited to submit an extended abstract of your paper. Possible topics include governance in the city, management and amenity production, sustainable development, urban growth, urban transportation policy, spatial differentiation and location choice. Selected papers will be published in a special issue of Louvain Economic Review (Recherches Economiques de Louvain), the foreword will be written by Paul Krugman.

Submission guidelines and timetable:
Submission of extended abstract (PDF file, at most 4 pages) to Marion ROMO
by April 30th. Notification: May 20th.
