Epainos 2009 first prize winners are Theresa Grafeneder-Weissteiner and Klaus Prettner for their paper entitled "Agglomeration and demographic change". In equal second place, we have Patricia Melo with her paper "Agglomeration economics and labour productivity: evidence from longitudinal worker level data for GB Travel-to-Work areas" and Guilherme Mendes Resende for his paper "Multiple dimensions of regional economic growth: the Brazilian case 1991-2000".
