James and Marilyn Lovell Center Announcement
The James and Marilyn Lovell Center for Environmental Geography and Hazards Research, housed in the Department of Geography at Texas State University, invites you to explore – we’ve added a listing of our Faculty and Student Scholars’ books, which can be found HERE - its most recent addition, “Geospatial Techniques in Urban Hazard and Disaster Analysis” by Showalter and Lu (Springer; 2010).
And, please note the addition of the International Flash Flood Laboratory’s (IFFL) webpages. The laboratory currently exists under the sponsorship of the Lovell Center and is actively seeking funding to carry out the missions identified last October by participants in its inaugural workshop.
