OPEN DAYS 2015 - European Week of Region and Cities

The OPEN DAYS University aims to present new research on regional and urban development. It enables academics, practitioners, EU officials and other interested participants to exchange views and test new academic concepts in the field of regional and urban policies. The University facilitates the creation of networking links between students, academics, EU institutions and regional partners and raises awareness, attracting students and young researchers to the topic of the EU cohesion policy.

The XLI International Conference on Regional Science in 2015.

The conference theme is “Innovation and geographical spillovers: new approaches and evidence”.

The conference will feature international keynote speakers such as David B. Audrestch, from Indiana University, and Edward Glaeser (pending confirmation), from Harvard University, amongst others.

This conference is an opportunity to discuss our research and share our experiences of different academic approaches.
